Synopsis:
Confusion, fear, and uncertainty have plagued abortion providers as patients scramble to find abortion care in a post-Roe America. Clinics have had to close and reopen repeatedly, in some cases moving across the country to continue operating. We traveled to states where laws are in flux to film the personal fallout of breaking news, including physicians turning desperate patients away at the front desk. This documentary piece seeks to understand the decisions providers are making and the impact this back and forth is having on patient access, even in states where abortion remains legal.
